Day 1 : Arrival in Hanoi (Welcome dinner)

Up on arrival at the airport in Hanoi, we will be met and transferred to hotel for check in. If the time permits, we enjoy our welcome dinner at the fine restaurant in Hanoi

Day 2 : Hanoi – Duong Lam - Hanoi (B, L)

0830 depart your hotel for the 1.5-hour drive west of Hanoi to Duong Lam village, a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River Delta which still preserves many hundred-year-old houses. Visit Mong Phu temple in Mong Phu commune – the only hamlet whose original village entrance remains intact. Continue on through the narrow alleys to see the old laterite houses which make up this charming village. Enjoy a picnic lunch en-route.

After your lunch, continue driving to Mia Pagoda (another hamlet of Duong Lam), built in the 15th century, some 287 statues of all sizes can be seen here, among with are famous sculptures such as the statue of Buddha and the statues of the “Eight Vajra Deities”. Then, visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, places dedicated to two national heroes – Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung.

On the way back to Hanoi stop at Tay Phuong Pagoda. The pagoda offers beautiful architecture and ancient and unique sculptures. It was one of the first pagodas built in Vietnam and has magnificent dragons and demons carved into the wooden roof. From here continue back to Hanoi, a 45-minute drive.

Day 3 : Hanoi City Tour – Catch night train to Lao Cai/ Sapa (B, L, D)

This morning we visit Ho Chi Minh complex and the Temple of Literature then we stop for our lunch in a local fine restaurant. This afternoon, we visit the Ethnology Museum, West Lake area (Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda), Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. We have one hour to traveling around the Ancient city to see the daily Life of Hanoi and one more hour to watch The Water Puppet show in the Theater on the bank of Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy our dinner at the fine restaurant before escorting you to Hanoi Raiway Station to catch our night train to Lao Cai/ Sapa

Day 4 : Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai (B, L)

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa. Driving to Sapa is only 38 km but it takes around one hour to make our way up the mountains. Once at Sapa, we will check into the hotel. After freshening up and having breakfast we are ready to explore Sapa
town. We embark on a lovely walking tour to the hill tribe village of Cat Cat, home of the H’Mong hill tribe minority people. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with families that live in the area. O/N in Hotel in Sapa.

Day 5 : Sin Chai – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L, D)

Breakfast in the hotel we then, embark on a lovely trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hills tribe villages Lao Chai & Ta Van, home to Black H’mong, and Dzay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Once on the valley floor you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds you. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields and scattered villages.

Day 6 : Ta Van – Bac Ha Sunday Market – Catch night train back Hanoi (B, L, D)

After our breakfast at our homestay, we go to the Bac Ha market for two hours by a van. This is the largest market in the region, a place where many ethnic groups gather to buy and sell, eat and drink together. There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy homemade handicrafts and clothes. In the afternoon we will have a 2 hour trek to Ban Pho village (Flower H’Mong people).In the village we can have a look in their house and understand little more about their lifestyle and traditional customs. Especially, we can try homemade wine from corn. And then we drive back to Lao Cai Raiway Station to catch our night train back Hanoi.

Day 7 : Arrival Hanoi – Halong Bay on Cruise (B, L, D)

8.30: Our private car and driver will pick up for a drive to Halong Bay. On the way, we stop for refreshment and photos.
12.30: Boarding Glory Cruise. Welcome drink is served.
13.00-14.30: Lunch is served while cruising through Halong Bay. Roam around the labyrinth of the Bay through the Fighting Cock, Canh Buom, and stop for swimming then go for visiting Sung Sot cave (The Sudden Surprise). Kayak to Luon cave, Dau Nguoi Mountain, Titop beach.
18.30: Docking for overnight.
19.30: Dinner is served. Overnight on the Junk.

Day 8 : Halong - Hanoi (B, L)

12.00: Take you back to Hanoi. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 9 : Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Kenh Ga (B)

Hoa Lu is called “Ha Long bay in land”, it is a landscape similar to that of Halong bay (without the sea but in the rice fields). At 8:00am depart to Ninh Binh, enjoying the rural scenery along the road. Visit Hoa Lu old citadel. Have lunch at restaurant before take the rowing boat along the tiny canal among the rice fields to visit Tam Coc (Three Grottoes) . Then visit Kenh Ga until transfer you back Hanoi.

Day 11 : Hue City Tour & Boat Trip (B, L)

Hue is known as an ancient Capital city of many original historical vestiges. There are more than 100 architectural works to be extremely reflected the life of Emperors and Mandarins under Nguyen’s reign. Situated in the middle of hills on the Southern Bank of Perfume River are very beautiful tombs of Nguyen Kings.

Our tour starts at 08:00 in the morning at the lobby of the hotel. We will be met and transferred to the Wharf where we will cruise along the Perfume River to visit:

Thien Mu Pagoda (The Heavenly Lady pagoda), from here we will have a good view of Perfume River and surroundings.

Tu Duc King’s tomb, which is one of the most beautiful works of Royal Architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. The tomb lies in a boundless pine forest.

Then we transfer back to the city for our delicious lunch at a fine local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City; Tinh Gia Vien Garden house and Dong Ba market. Tour ends at around 06:00PM at hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 13 : Hue – Hoi An Walking Tour (B)

After breakfast, we travel by vehicle to Hoi An along scenic highway 1A. Along the way we will stop to contemplate the stunning views north, to Lang Co Beach and South to Danang City to visit Cham Museum, My Khe Beach and the Marble Mountain. We will arrive in Hoi An in the afternoon, relax and take our walking tour before our Dinner. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

Day 15 : Hoi An – Fly to Saigon – Saigon Tour (B)

After our breakfast at hotel, we catch flight to Ho Chi Minh City/ Saigon, upon arrival in Saigon, pick up and transfer you to hotel then we enjoy our city tour in Saigon for visiting Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that we will visit War Remnant Museum, where you can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war. Before our lunch we stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to get our good shots for our memory of the biggest city in Vietnam.

Day 16 : Saigon – Mekong Delta – Cai Be Floating Village – Vinh Long – Chau Doc (B, L)

The trip to Mekong Delta offers a glimpse into the agrarian life of the vibrant southern Delta region as we wind our way through the tributaries of the Mekong Delta. From our boats, we are able to closely observe the daily rituals of river life and participate in the bustling commercial activities as we buy our fruits from the floating market. Along the way, we will visit an orchard farm, handicraft village, and a land market with an abundance of colorful fresh fruits and vegetables.

This morning pick up from your hotel at 8am we set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for it’s floating market. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. Visit Orchards farms, handicraft village,. We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of ‘Elephant ear fish’, before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Towards the end of the day we drive back to Saigon.

Day 18 : Tour in Phnom Penh (B)

Today we start the tour to visit Royal Palace, one of the most beautiful samples of Khmer palace, which allows us to visit the precious Throne Hall, Prasat Khemarin, Prasat Samrn Phirum, Hor Preah Khan, Chan Chhaya, and Silver Pagoda where the king regularly does the warship. Then witness the National Museum of Khmer Arts, with its warm red terracotta and its gracefully curved roof topped by dozens of guardian nagas.
In the afternoon, visit Toul Sleng Museum where is the largest center of detention and torture of Khmer Rouge regime. Then enjoy the Shopping at the nearby Russian Market (if you prefer) before getting on a boat cruise along Mekong River bank to see the lovely Phnom Penh city at night with breathtaking view along the river.

Day 19 : Phnom Penh Departure – Kompong Cham - Tours (B)

Day 21 : Tour to South Gate of Angkor Thom – Angkor Wat (B, D)

After breakfast, we continue with our tour to South Gate of Angkor Thom, then go to Angkor Thom (the temple) which was built by Angkor’s greatest king, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism is still unknown until now. Then we go to Baphoun, which is one of the most spectacular of Angkor’s temples in its heyday; to Terrace of the Elephants that was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall; to Terrace of the Leper King, another of Angkor’s mysteries. In the afternoon, we visit the World Seventh Wonder -better known as Angkor Wat-that stands as the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Angkor wat stretch over some 400 sq. km, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire.

In the evening if possible, we view the sunset at Phnom Bakheng. And enjoy our dinner with Apsara Dancing show for the farewell dinner from Siem Reap.

Day 23 : Siem Reap Departure - Battambang - Tours (B)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel then continue our trip to Battambang Province. About 4 hours drive on the good National road, we will reach the town of Battambang.

Then we will check in the hotel before start our tour to visit Banan Temple. The temple has five towers similar to Angkor Wat, but it was constructed separately. At the foot of the mountain, there is a moat and two natural wells, Bet Meas and Chhoung. On the way back, we will visit the Grape Farm that has only one in Cambodia and enjoy the Cambodian Wine that produces from our local grape by a Cambodian Family.

Afterward, we continue to visit Ancient House and Bamboo Train. View sunset along the way on the Bamboo Train and back to hotel. Free for own leisure and overnight in Battambang.

Day 24 : Battambang Departure – Kompong Luong – Udong - Phnom Penh (B)

This morning, early departure to Kompong Luong where you can take a boat trip to see the lifestyle of fishing village. Spend about an hour on the boat trip before continue direct to Udong.
At Udong you can visit the various temples and the three large stupas where the ashes of three former kings are preserved. Next visit the Vihara of 18 Cubit Buddha, until continue to Phnom Penh, Overnight Phnom Penh.
